X-Vick: Work Environment

X-Vick is a program for the automatic and semiautomatic measuring of Vickers microhardness.

This chapter describes all the functions in the Vickers menu.
The other menus are described in the chapter dedicated to X-Pro.

X-Vick's standard functions are a subset of X-Pro's functions.

Some options in the Vickers menu can also be found on the status bar:

The Toolbar from the Vickers menu is activated by selecting View menu-> Toolbar-> Vickers.

You can customize each bar: click the left mouse button on the black downward arrow at the right end of the icons.

iMAGE BAR

Graphically displays the images currently open in the work environment. The bar is freely positionable.
If you click the left mouse button on a thumbnail in the bar, the corresponding original image is opened at the chosen scale factor.
